Needle Felted Bunny
I'm loving needle-felting right now! After finishing King Winter, I made Ben a bunny for his birthday. But that's supposed to be a suprise, so you'll have to wait. THIS bunny is the last thing I made, and I finished it last night. I decided that more people are interested in spring themed things right now, and I have to put more things on my Etsy account. So, here is a little Easter bunny that I've put up for sale.

I love the bunny very seasonal. The last things I have made are a very basic tiny owl (Bridget has been really enjoying Owl Moon and Owl Babies lately so it seemed appropriate) and I plan to make some nests, eggs, and birds in the coming month. Bunnies are on my list as well. Do you have any good instructional resources that you would recommend?
ReplyDeleteI only learned a bit in one parent/tot class. I used to own The Felting Needle by Ayala Talpai, but I didn't find it all that useful. Mostly, I make things by trial and error. I will be requesting some books from the library, perhaps through interlibrary loan, and I'll let you know of any I really like. I do have out Complete Feltmaking right now, but it only has a small needlefelting section.
ReplyDeleteI'm tickled pink! Thanks for buying, Charmaine!
ReplyDeleteOh, here's some good info on needle felting. I just went over it again and it's very useful.
